When it comes to giving the accuracy of a watch surely these just give a snapshot of the accuracy at the given amount of wind in the mainspring when you measure it? So you could put the same watch on the timegrapher later on when the power reserve has depleted below halfway and get a completely different reading?
One of my Seikos is +1s for the first 12 hours and then drops to -7s over the next 12 hours. So at which point in the cycle would you regulate it? Half wound?
