1950s Omega with very unusual original dial?

Hi everyone,

I'd appreciate some opinions on this 1958 Omega Seamaster ref 2846. Now, I love Pie Pans but this dial is pretty cool too.

The silver dial has a rather unusual concentric circular brushed finish which caught my eye. I think it is called "radial".

I'm wondering what experienced Omega collectors think of this particular example. Is this a relatively common dial variation, or something genuinely uncommon?
