Are Paid FB Forum Groups Worth It?

Does anyone here use MODA or other paid subscription based FB/WhatsApp groups to buy/sell or source watches? If you're a reseller, do you actually get good source pricing? As a buyer, how worried do you need to be about scams? Full disclosure, I actually do subscribe to a couple of these now, but I still can't figure out the value yet. Seems like there are probably an elite few buyers/sellers who can make a living on these, but newer/smaller guys get shut out.
