Seiko insert removal and pip question

Hi folks I decided I’ve had enough of one of my turtles having a misaligned pip..I’ve removed and installed different inserts so this is a different situation. My concern is the pip adhesive softening while I soak the bezel in solvent to safely remove the insert. Will it fall off? If so is there another method to safely save the original insert and not risk losing the pip? TIA WUSers!
