An often neglected part of watch design is the 9 o'clock (or opposite side of the crown) side case. In thin cases, it does usually not become much of an issue, but especially on thicker watches, a relatively large flat area can come off as a negative from an aesthetic viewpoint, regardless if you are wearing the watch on your right or left wrist.
