If you only learned about the world from watch forums, what would you be wrong about?

I got to thinking the other day about how much different real life is than what the watch community talks about. The stand out thing for me is that, if your only knowledge of the world came from reading watch threads, you would be under the impression that deep sea diving is way more popular a passtime than it actually is.

What else follows under the same line of reasoning?
