Moisture inside a quartz piece

WatchUSeek Watch Forums WatchUSeek Watch Forums

My son bought himself an addiesdive batman quartz watch—an inexpensive one for work.
It arrived running, with the crown fully screwed in; there was no need to pull out a tab or remove a plastic strip to activate it. After about two days, some moisture appeared inside the watch, on the crystal.
Apart from that, the watch works well.
My question is whether I can open the back of the watch and dry it gently, patiently, and from a distance using a hair dryer?
Thanks in advance for any help.
