In ex-USSR countries vintage WWII Zenith military watches made for the German armed forces are quite common, whereas in the West they are considered rare, especially in good condition.
Zenith produced both military wristwatches and pocket watches for the German army (DH-watches). Wristwatches were initially made in stainless steel cases, but by the end of the war, they switched to chrome-plated cases.
