I tried on the new Longines Conquest Quartz today. I was disappointed.

First of all, apologies in advance for not taking a photo, but I only kept it on my wrist for all of 15 seconds before realizing I hated it and took it off. I had the exact same reaction when I tried on the automatic. Maybe it’s something about the case design – I don’t know – but the new Conquest just isn’t appealing to me.

I was really hoping for a different reaction. At $900 cheaper than the auto I thought it’d be a great grab and go watch. But it looks VERY different in real life…
