I realized the other day that most of the famous watch brands have ancient history, and thus many vintage models, but I have not heard of famous watches from brands not currently producing watches. Guess that’s the long arm of corporate advertising.
Are there any famous brands that are still highly sought after even if the company is now defunct? I don’t mean “bought by a new owner for the name and legitimacy” I mean gone. The closest I can think of is accutron being only a line within…
