To keep this as brief as possible, I had a Seiko spb239 62mas and bought a Strapcode bracelet with ratchet adjustment for it. I love the bracelet and have just replaced the watch for the newer spb453.
Both have 20mm lugs but to my horror the end links are slightly different, the spb453 oe bracelet fits the spb239 but the StrapCode won’t securely fit the spb453.
I’ve contacted StrapCode who after a bit badgering finally confirmed ‘not compatible’ and ‘maybe in future’ when I asked if compatible end links were available.
Short of firing up my dremel and ruining a perfectly functional bracelet does anyone have any suggestions for someone who could carry out the necessary alterations?
