Omega 2531.80 Rubber Strap

Hello I was looking into getting a rubber strap for my 2531.80.

Now I can either go the OEM route straight from Omega, which they still offer for sale. It’s very expensive though with the strap and clasp running about $600.

But I was curious if anyone has used the newer (2018 – present) Seamaster rubber strap and buckle on a 2531.80? Does it fit at all?

Really looking to stick with Omega only straps.
