Here, we will follow this year’s Sydney Hobart Race with more interest than in other years.
One of the crew member is Finn, my son’s former team mate in the Dutch Youth TeamNL. That was during the years before Covid threw a crate filled with spanners in the works.

I know Finn since he was 9, 10 y/o. Back then his was competing in the Optimist fields across NW Europe. I know his parents from all the hours waiting ashore or on the RIB as safety officers,
Finn switched to offshore racing with the Dutch ROST crew. My son decided that coaching was (is) his sailing future.
Finn is the designated driver on Voltstar YeahBaby! A 6 crew racer for the nearly 700 nautical miles. Apart from being a true hero sailing S.H., he’s also a very pleasant young man. It’s good to have him around!
