Skin cancer (scc) anyone experience?

Bit of back story, I’ve had a spot on the side of my nose 10-12 months, sometimes gets a bit oouzzy then crusty. About 6 months ago a dentist friend told me I should get it looked at.

Well last week I did something about it, rang up and self referred to the lesion and mole clinic (sounds horrendous), went along at 12.00 today, all done in 10 minutes, photo taken with iPhone then uploaded to ai. 6 hours later I get a call from my local GP to say I have SCC and that I will get a hospital appointment to have it removed within 2 weeks.

Very efficient service, anyone had a similar form of skin cancer, seems the grade is what makes a difference but they don’t know that till it’s out and tested.
