Hi all! I purchased a mid-80s 16030 a little while back and just noticed that the watch’s serial number is engraved into the bracelet clasp right above the "Steelinox" engraving and it matches the case’s serial number exactly (9M). I’ve never seen or heard of this before. I am wondering if anyone might have theories or opinions on who might have done this and why? Picture below. Thank you!
