As the title indicates I’m thinking of making this switch. I’m drawn to the field watch aesthetic of the Serica more than the Hamilton – I feel it has a lot more personality with its large arrowhead and more unique bracelet.
So I’ve begun my research. From what I’ve learned Serica moved from a Newton movement, which was plagued with problems, to a Soprod movement which they COSC certify now. It’s supposedly on par with an ETA 2892.
