Sold on ebay

First time in years.

Phoned ebay first to smooth out any potential scams (that have been mentioned on here),they said protection for both partys go ahead.

I took lots of photos,I found it a bit more confusing this time to place the add.

When it sold I took more photos of it and of it being packed,told the buyer I had checked it over again and sent him the new photos.

Found it easier to post directly with RM,as I couldnt work out ebays method.

Sent the buyer tracking info and notified ebay.

Every message from RM I sent to the buyer and kept him informed.

When he got the item he was very pleased and friendly, I got very positive feedback again.

I didnt realise I still had my old bank details (I had to change my bank because of someone on here, I left for 2 years for the same reason).

Thankfully the money bounced back, after a bit of faff (they wanted the full old account number which I could not remember)I added my new bank account.

The money is now in my account a few days after the sale.

It was less stressful than on here what with the targeted "rat packing" some indulge in.

I would rather keep things in house, but if they dont sell we have no choice.
