I recently took a 90s Hamilton to my local jeweler to pass to their offsite watchmaker. Their watchmaker has refurbished a couple of other older watches for me (early 70s Bulova Sea King and a 40s/50s Leonidas) and did a great job, including sourcing a new mainspring for the Leonidas. This one came back a week or two later with a note saying that parts are not available.
