I have wanted a Seiko Dolce SACM171 for a dress watch, for a few years. Our 27th wedding anniversary was a couple weeks ago and my wife bought me one.
New in box from Japan based retailer for $325 (+taxes, fees, etc…=$372.**).
I figured "tariffs are crazy" probably not the best time, customs duties and fees could be hefty, maybe something excessive like…$100?
NO.
$289.72!
On a $325 quartz watch with a stainless case and a leather strap.
Is this right? Is DHL calculating this right…
