After a long hunt, this beauty from 1968 sits upon my wrist. I longed to add an iconic vintage diver to my collection. I favored Rolex and Blancpain but astronomical prices kept them out of my reach. The 6159-7000 is by no means a bargain, but definitely more affordable than it’s Swiss counterparts and every bit as majestic. The only caveat being the Seiko’s are far less available.
