I serviced an old poljot and when i dissassembled the mainspring i feel i assembled wrong. So now it have this shape.

Jump Hour Movement

Hello everyone!

I’m embarking on a watch project and I’m particularly drawn to incorporating a jump hour movement. While I’ve noticed there are numerous Swiss-made options, they tend to come with a hefty price tag! Are there any other third-party movements available that offer a jumping hour or even a jumping hour and minutes feature?

replacement crystal Elgin model 3

I unfortunately cracked the crystal on an Elgin model 3 that was passed down to me. The serial number is 28103750. When I try to launch searches based on the information I find for this serial number on pocketwatchdatabase.com (newbies not allowed to insert links), I come up with close-but-not-quite. I found a replacement mainspring on a site with a description of:

Mainspring 0.95 x 0.115 x 380 x 10.0

I imagine thickness, width and length but what is the extra parameter ?

& I’m assuming this is in millimeters ?
