I am guessing mid century, maybe 1960s? No name or other markings anywhere on the face, unfortunately. The back of the case has hand engraved numbers: LB54895 LB65082 LB77654 LB88683 – I did try searching all of those online but got nowhere.

I picked this up today pawn shopping. Paid 60. Everything on it runs.
Movement reads 6602-8050

General question: should the date be adjustable on its own or is the only way to adjust it by sending it around the hours twice for each day ( right now I can’t seem to adjust the date alone)

Looks like Seiko wants 290 to service this watch. The crystal looks a bit worn. A general service I’m sure is in order.
Anyone recommend a 3rd party for this. 290 seems steep.

I'm considering picking up a vintage watch and have long been coveting an Omega from the mid 20th century.

After narrowing down my options I'm thinking of an Omega from the 1950's time period, maybe an Omega Seamaster Automatic or a dress watch, like the reference 2639. I'm after an automatic, no date and something around 36mm or above so it wears a bit more nicely on my larger wrists.

I inherited this beautiful Deco styled Movado but don't know much about it. I believe my grandfather The bracelet is stamped '12c' and is very tight on me. I'd feel more comfortable wearing it with a leather strap. Lugs measure 16.25mm on the inside. Does anyone have recommendations for where I might shop for a leather or similar replacement? Grandfather's Movado – looking for info and strap advice

I just bought this vintage brooch watch and was wondering if anyone could help me find out more information about it. There are lots of these types of watches online but wondering about its authenticity and year of make. It seems quite a unique shape maybe? With no markings on the back so perhaps a later period replica. Haven't found an exact match online yet.

This watch belonged to my Dad. What I know / think is:

• Early 60's ??
• Landeron 48 movement ??
• May have been purchased at a Birks store in Canada
• has '755' marking on case back
• the 'Whitman' almost seems stenciled on

If it is a Landeron 48 movement, I know it was put in many different branded watches.

The watch in the photo is a Duward Diplomatic Dublin, model number D-95420. I’ve tried to track down production information but haven’t been able to find anything definitive regarding its year of manufacture.

Just grabbed a King Seiko 5625-7000 (SGP, 1969) — near-NOS plating, original silver dial, serviced — all for AUD$850 delivered from Japan to Australia, and a nice brand new Hirsch camelgrain strap. I’ve been hunting a clean gold KS for what seems forever, and this one finally popped up. Usually they have plating loss, especially around the lugs.
