Hello all! Vintage 18k Seamaster inquiry…

Hi, this is my first post.
I just wanted to say I appreciate that this forum exists and to also say hello!

I have this 18 carat Seamaster that has been put away since my high school graduation in 1984.
I never really wore a watch and I was definitely not a ‘gold guy’ so this has been in my mom’s drawer since then.
Today was my son’s confirmation and I am planning on giving this to him, but I would like to find out if this is something that I should in turn put away for him – or let him…

My First Omega Watch

Hi
I’m a Bulova guy in wristwatches, but I just bought my first Omega watch! I’m Impressed. Don’t really know much about them. I bought it from a doctor for $50 dollars and I’m told that was a bargain! I will post some photos, and any Information would be appreciated. Bulova’s have a date code on the back of the case. I can’t open the case, but i have a photo of the watch.

Vintage Seamaster Chrono parts question

Good morning Gentlemen and thanks for allowing me to join/ask a question.
I have a friend that bought his Seamaster Chrono brand new in 1967.
He had the crown replaced several years ago with a non-OEM crown.
One of the chrono hands dislodged itself and I’m going to have my watchmaker put it together for him.
Without opening the back does anyone know what model number crown I should pick up. They sell several NOS one’s on ebay and I’d like to make sure I get the correct crown (with “O” logo)…

Constellation french case… what about the crown ?

Hi everyone. First post here, seeking guidance and knowledge 😉

Bought this second-hand Constellation (don’t mind the strap, original was an old Omega brown leather) in my local watch retail store, western France. This is what I identified as a 1952 OT2648, cal 354, with a serial number in the 13 millions range.

Gold case has been produced in France, due to gold regulations at the time. Sharp eyes will see an OMEGA stylized logo, an eagle head and a PGF (Paul Frank and Sons probably) logo…
