The 30mm manual wind omega is a classic omega movement and correctly considered one of the all time great movements. I’ve posted in another thread that that over 3 decades this movement powered such a huge number of different watches. Share pictures of some your examples in this thread to help illustrate the huge variety of models that featured this movement.

Would like to share the Geiger Reading of a 2998-4 with potentially original radium lume. I have several watch with radium lume and none of them has the same level of radiation.

The front without crystal reading is from my watchmaker. I’m wondering if the crystal can block that much of radiation?

I’ve been looking to upgrade my everywhere/every activity daily wear watch and been evaluating a few different options that meet some criteria interested in for it (>38mm, day-date feature, vintage style, steel case, fine to be worn for all types of activities without worrying about damaging it).

One option that I’ve been thinking about is the speedmaster triple date, but was curious on thoughts from those who have worn one on if they found the dial too busy to be able to read it easily…
