Omega Pocket Watch Restoration

Evening all,
Got this today from a local store. Sold as being parts only. I pretty much stick to wrist watches other than the occasional pocket watch that turns up, like this. I only paid $50 so I’m happy to put some work into it.

Movement is dated 1916 whereas the case is dated 1923.It winds counterclockwise but not clockwise, and it will not run at all. Silver case is in great condition. Inside looks to be almost greasy and dusty?

Help with deciding first vintage Omega watch

I am deciding between two vintage Omega Seamasters. I am a first-time vintage Omega buyer and couldn’t tell if any of the parts have been replaced or not. Any thoughts on the watches? Are they worth the price? Both watches are listed on Chrono24.

The great Omega Speedmaster Mark (II-III-IV-4.5-5) thread

Hey guys,

As much as I looked I could not find a thread about this great (and somewhat odd) line of Speedmasters. There are many discussions on certain models and references but no generic thread – at least I could not find any.
