Inherited (2007) Omega Speed Master (Moon watch)

Good day all.

I’ve inherited a Moon Watch from my father. It was his workhorse that he wore almost every day. Looking at the documentation, he bought it in 2007.
I don’t believe it’s ever been serviced (that I can remember anyway).

Would Omega have a record of any servicing by any chance if it was done by an authorised service provider?

My first thought is one day I will pass it to my son and need to know about servicing requirements. I see a mix of if it’s working, leave it and get it…

1944/45 Omega 30T2 movement – is it fixable?

Hi folks, this is my second post to this forum. The first post was to identify the watch – thanks to those that helped.

This post is asking for opinion on whether this case is repairable.

There are two issues: the first is that the stem tube is broken (see photo) and the second is that corrosion has damaged the case in that area (see photo).

When patience pays off – a seven year hunt for a 2486 case back!

Whilst scouring Ebay in the summer of 2017 this Jumbo reference 2486 Omega Cosmic TDMP popped up from a French seller with a great BIN price. The jumbo’s in steel are very hard to find and at that point I didn’t have a steel one in my Cosmic collection. So although this one has a strong patina I found it attractive enough to go for.
