Hi all, hoping for a little guidance. Anewbie to the forum but a little bit of experiencing tinkering with time pieces

I've just got my hands on this Sideral which seems to be running well.

Only problem is I can't seem to change the time.

The crown appears to have a first position away from the case but when wound it still appears to be loading the spring rather than moving the hands.

On a further pull the stem removes (a little too easily) as i would expect to remove the movement…

Hi everyone. I'm trying to find out the model of my late Grandmother's watch. It doesn't have any distinguishing marks other than what I think is a gold mark near the crown which reads *75. I think it's either a 2 or 3.

Hi, I am looking for any leads on the translucent strap that came with the Two Timer. They come in a variety of colors. I believe it is plastic or rubber. I own a few Two Timers but they came with metal bands - looking to replace them with the original translucent strap they came with. There are lots of (often bland) variants of the Powermatic 80, but after seeing this one, I was never able to get it out of my mind. The dial is anthracite (a type of coal) which makes sense because it was created to mark the anniversary of a Swiss rail line in...

The date wheel will move off-centre when I move watch. Overnight will set to next day but then move again as before.
Anyone have any idea what's happening?

I have been looking for a higher end brand than the collection I have now. Omega attracts me but they are just out of reach. I saw this one at an online shop and the price is in my comfort zone.
How do Tissot's stack up against Omega's. This one is in the $300 - $400 zone and the Omega's I like are not.
