Hi all, if Timefactors ever produced a 6 o’clock second hand Smiths? I am looking for a reissue unit if there is one.

Could any owners of the above provide some information on the clasp please? From the images I’ve seen it looks a bit blocky, is it like that in real life or slimner than it looks? And is micro adjustment via holes in the clasp, or does a sliding part come out, like some of the citizen and seiko diving extensions? Thanks!

Please be aware that unfortunately the “De Minimis” exemption for items under $800 for items with a Hong Kong Country of Origin has now been removed by the U.S. Administration.

Many of our Watches, Bracelets & Straps are part-made in Hong Kong (with movements being Swiss or Japanese) so they are liable for the same 145% tariff placed on China.

We believe charges are calculated on the percentage value of each components Country of Origin. This is on average 50% case/bracelet and 50% movement, but does vary depending on the watch.

Tariffs and charges are collected by UPS prior to delivery so please make sure your contact details are correct.

I purchased a PRS-18Q watch from Eddie in September 2012, and have only just had the battery changed.
That is a phenomenal battery life, I believe it was quoted as a 10 year life but has far exceeded it at 12 and half years.

The most recent Time Factors email newsletter says a new Smiths Retro Diver is forthcoming in 2025. Are any other details available, like specs, renderings or photos? Apologies if I have missed any relevant posts.

Have just purchased the PRS-58 from SC. Not a massive bracelet fan so wondered if anyone has any recommendations or pics of these watches on alternative straps? Nato, rubber, sailcloth etc ????

These are showing on the timefactors website as available (when open). I tried to buy one in the last opening and i understand speed is important. In had the watch in my basket and payment complete before 2.01. The system then said the watch was out of stock. But the store was still open

The website still says available next opening. Is this still available. Is it worth trying again next time.

On February 1st, 2025, U.S. President Trump issued three Executive Orders imposing tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China. No tariffs have been imposed on Europe at this time. The situation remains fluid, and we will continue to monitor developments and provide updates as needed.

The Executive Orders announced that as of 12:01 AM on February 4, 2025, the following would take effect:

• An additional 10% tariff will be imposed on all goods from China
• Additional tariffs of 25% will be imposed on all goods from Canada and Mexico
• Energy (oil, natural gas, electricity) resources from Canada will receive a 10% tariff
• The tariffs are to be applied on top of existing tariffs
• De minimis treatment is suspended for all impacted goods. As such, regardless of value, all goods will be subject to the applicable duties, and the waiver of duties under Section 321 (U.S. de minimis) is no longer applicable.

On February 3, the U.S. put a one month pause on the tariff action to Mexico and Canada. This means that the current de minimis levels remains in place.

As of 12:01 AM on February 4, 2025, the following will continue to take effect:

• An additional 10% tariff will be imposed on all goods from China with de minimis suspended.

Tariffs are based on country of origin, not country of export. The commercial invoice determines the applicable tariffs.

Because my watches are made in Hong Kong (which is part of China) charges apply to all watches entering the US from 4 February.

Prior to this executive order, US customers could import $800 worth of goods without having to pay any import charges. This $800 limit has now been removed from goods manufactured in China and charges are due on the entire invoice value.
