I have a TAG Heuer Carrera WV211B automatic watch that I picked up recently. The issue I’m running into is that the hands don’t move at all — they’re completely stationary.
Here’s what’s working and what’s not:
- I can set the time and date without any issues using the crown.
- I can hear the balance wheel oscillating when I give it a gentle shake or wind it, so it seems like the movement is trying to run…

Help identify real or fake Monaco?
I was offered a watch locally that is a square Monaco non-Chrono, blue dial. Allegedly about 10 years old, but no box or papers. The markings on the back of the case are WW211 for model (seems right) and vl0636 for serial number. A couple pics of the caseback are attached. Can anyone help me identify if it’s real or fake and maybe help with the current value? I like Monacos a lot but small wrists… if this one is real and a good value, willing to try and live with it.
