Sifu Straps introduced a new patented design nylon strap earlier this year and I’ve used them for 2+ months now non-stop. As a watch enthusiast first and foremost, I want to spread the word of these awesome straps because they have re-ignited my love for nato/nylon straps because of the thinner look and better feeling on the wrist.

New and improved nylon strap? – Sifu Straps

I recently purchased this Zenith de Luca. I’m not a huge bracelet guy so I want to pick up a leather strap instead.

The automatic go-to choice for a leather strap would be black with white stitching, but I was thinking maybe something in brown or tan.

Thoughts?

Help Me Chose a Stap for my Zenith

i bought a bracelet that i think works well with my Orient Star – with the idea to modify it by removing enough metal from each side of the end links and the first attached link to fit it on the 21mm width of the watch lugs.

this particular bracelet doesn’t come in a 21mm variant – it’s either 20mm or 22mm.

i have a tool dressing stone that i thought about using to do this … slowly remove about 1.1 to 1.2 mm (about .55 to .60mm per side).

These are probably the nicest straps I’ve ever used. The construction and hand-stitching is impeccable. Out of the box, the leather is fairly stiff, esp compared to my Delugs bespoke straps, but I actually prefer this. In my experience, stiffer straps wear less in the long run and better conform to your individual wrist over time.
