Hi All, new to the forum so apologies if this is in the wrong place..

I’ve seen numerous threads (pardon the pun) around peoples concerns over screw down crowns and Seiko’s use of permanent epoxy/laser welding to secure the tube Into place.

The manufacturing method they use means that in most cases of cross threaded crown tubes, the service centre won’t fix the case, they’ll simply replace it.

Who Owns Multiple “Pogues”?

I’ve noticed Pogue guys have difficulty owning just one.
I’m talking about all the colors, not just the classic yellow.
The guy I bought my first Pogue from had 15 other examples.
And I just bought my second Pogue, the coke speedtimer variant.
That seller was a collector as well.
Now I feel the strong draw to buy the blue, silver, and teal dials too.
If I’m truly psychotic I’ll then hunt for proof, resist, and blank variants of each.

if you could only have one…

Here’s a interesting theoretical dilemma…
What if we could only have one watch?
Would it be auto or quartz? Diver or dress? Vintage or modern?
I have often thought about this question over the years and find myself torn between the different models available, but in the end, I always come back to a Seiko Diver.
