Sturmanskie Chrono FAULTY can anyone help?

Hi, I took this sturmanskie to a High Street jewellers and asked for a service as I’ve had it for about 10 years. All the watch functions were working, even the hacking function when you pulled the crown, which i always thought was unusual since it’s a 3133. Anyway the shop telephoned me the next day saying the watch mender couldn’t service it. Letting go…

Letting go is harder than it seems. I’ve decided that having 65+ Soviet watches is a bit too many. Sold 8 of them this week. Will sell another dozen or so. But. But, but, but. It’s not easy letting them go. They were collected over the years. Through connections, searches, catch and releases, disappointments, excitement. I always called these orphans. And selling them is kind of a reminder of that.

for the fun of it, I’d like to try a small restoration. things that I am aware:

  • the case it’s not probably its own
  • the hands are not its own
  • the dial would profit a cleanup
