Continue readingPossibly a dumb question, but I was just curious… is it bad for a chronograph if you keep it at a non-zero position purely for asthetic purposes?
Meaning, start the chronograph, have it run about 37 seconds, stop it. Leave the second hand at 37 seconds.
I’ve occasionally found a few discussions, but it doesn’t seem there is anything conclusive. My chronograph has the Omega 3300 movement.

I’ve bought 2 of these watches that have the MMT-283-1 Smartwatch module and have been disappointed twice. I’ve owned well over 20 of Alpina’s offerings right from automatic to quartz and yes, the aforementioned smart watch.

I’ll buy the bracelet but probably wear it on multiple straps. I realize that not all of these criteria will be hit. But bright, bold, red is non-negotialble.

Anthony. Swiss Watch ?
I picked this Swiss made Anthony watch up at an estate sale. It needs cleaning and who knows what else. It does work a little and then stops. It feels like it is wound too tight. I can’t find any information on Anthony Swiss watches. Anyone have any info ? Is it worth cleaning / repair ? The back is not very tight. Still trying to remove it for more info.

My watch is fitted with a quartz chronograph movement. It is made by ronda, model 5030D.
It had a new battery 6 months ago.
All was well since day one, up until today.
