Possibly a dumb question, but I was just curious… is it bad for a chronograph if you keep it at a non-zero position purely for asthetic purposes?
Meaning, start the chronograph, have it run about 37 seconds, stop it. Leave the second hand at 37 seconds.
I’ve occasionally found a few discussions, but it doesn’t seem there is anything conclusive. My chronograph has the Omega 3300 movement.

The first one just died all on it’s own. The digital display just went dead and there was no bringing it back to life. I loved the watch so much, I bought another and keep in mine that aren’t cheap. The second watch died after one day with a newly installed battery…
Help me pick a red watch
I’m looking for something super bright, 12 raised numerals, no date, mechanical and from a brand with at least a shred of heritage. I’ll buy the bracelet but probably wear it on multiple straps. I realize that not all of these criteria will be hit. But bright, bold, red is non-negotialble.

My watch is fitted with a quartz chronograph movement. It is made by ronda, model 5030D.
It had a new battery 6 months ago.
All was well since day one, up until today.
