As the title states, I am looking for a watch for my wife. She has never been in the hobby, but has recently fell in love with my Seiko SBP455

So I am looking for something that is a similar incolor scheme, automatic, UNDER 36mm, and less than 2K.

crap did i damage my movement?

so there’s a rule that you don’t set your time between 9pm and 3am cause the date wheel is in motion and it can damage the movement and I just totally forgot because i woke up early this morning and I set the time, but it was at 3:14 am, so technically is it okay?

Hopefully i can remember it. 9 to 3, don’t change meee!

DIY – Hide my watches while on a trip

I have a nephew that lives nearby that has a crazy affinity for watches. He lives on the spectrum, but holds a job, drives and all that fun stuff. But boundaries are not his thing. I came home after work two months ago to find him in my room with all of my watches laid out on my bed. As I walked in he was taking my brand new Longines master off and just tossed it amongst a bunch of other watches.

We can say he’s lucky to still be alive when I saw that. But I’m leaving town for the weekend…
