As a lover of automatics with date (and even better day/date) and after a lot of research here and other sources, I came up with a ‘Universal Date Time setting process”.

This has led me to two main questions as I’ve now been using this for a couple of years.

First the process itself. This is assuming a stopped watch, but would also apply if running and needing to advance the date each month:

Get it running (manual wind, or wear it for 15 minutes).
Pull the crown out to the time setting…

I recently bought a RADO TRUE SQUARE new for a good price

After I received the watch, I started doing my QC inspection and found what looks like a small dust or scrach under the crystal, I’m not even sure what it is!!!

So I contacted the seller and sent him photos of the issue and he told me he would send me a new watch and I should return this one

I received the new watch 2 days ago , it doesn’t have any QC issues but it’s running at +13 seconds/day

I am screwed. I have De Quervain’s Syndrome near the base of my left thumb and find that the pressure from a watchband causes discomfort.
