I’m considering buying a Draken Aoraki, but the movement – a Miyota 82S5 – is holding me back. It hacks and handwinds, and Draken has put it in a Faraday cage for 20,000 A/m magnetism protection, but I’ve heard that it’s often less accurate than the NH35 and it may be difficult to service, as least compared to the NH35. I’ve also heard that Miyota’s Parashock system isn’t as good as Seiko’s Diashock.

I’m searching for a watch box but can’t seem to find exactly what I want. Maybe they don’t make them the way I’m looking for, or maybe I’m not searching in the right places. Either way, I’m not sure, so I turn to you fine folks for help.

To a brand new member? A recent thread got me to thinking about how my fellow WUS members feel about trusting new members when it comes to buying/selling watches or other items here. I don’t buy or sell much here, maybe half a dozen times or so in ten years, so I’m interested in hearing if the members that do frequent the for sale sections would trust a brand new member who has little or no post history and no transaction history as a buyer or seller.
