Greetings all. I recently bought a Casio G-Shock ref G5600UE-1DR as a daily beater, particularly for when I’m travelling through the less salubrious parts of the world.

It’s the first Casio I’ve ever owned and I was quite impressed with the features which make it such a good travel companion. Rugged. Solar Charging. Ability to track multiple timezones. It’s relieved my GMT itch completely 😁

Rado Golden Horse

Morning coffee and fell down a rabbit hole chasing a horse I knew nothing about.

In particular a Rado Golden Horse, now from limited information I can gather this reference is a ” reissue” I think between 2007-2012 Japanese market only.

Reference number is 658.3833.2 but can’t find much more about them. Does anyone have any more insight in to this particular model between this time. Note it doesn’t have the red date dial similar to the original release in the 1950’s.
