I sent my watch in 3 weeks ago to the Oris service center in MA. They've had it 3 weeks and will have it 8 weeks more. Moment overhaul and new bracelet under warranty.

Is 11 weeks normal for Oris repair. I am new to nice watches and have never sent in a watch for warranty.

I did search this site before posting and no i did not google it.

The estimate is close to $700. That seems a little strong for a standard service on an off-the-shelf movement.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an alternate place to service the watch in the US? Or is that basically the going rate these days?

Edit: 3rd time the watch has lost 2-3 minutes over a 4-5 day period. Should it go to warranty? It is 5 weeks old. Oris says -12 sec a day on the high end. That is 1 min per 5 days. Mine is a little on...

A bit hard to see in the attached picture but the lume is still there in the 5 o'clock marker but it is gone from the 4 O'clock marker. It came out as a single piece. I am not sure if it was originally painted in or if it was a cast piece that was glued in.

Should I just paint in lume or should I be trying to carve a little piece of glowing plastic of some sort to glue in? I have several missing but I only found one.
