Vintage digital Orient

Hello everyone)
I was so much surprised, that in certain topics, dedicated to Japanese watch manufacturers, such as Seiko, Citizen and Orient, the whole branch of development of Japanese watch manufacturers was missed, namely, the discussions of vintage electronic watches. That’s why today in sub-forum which is called “Orient”, I would like to start a disscussion of Orient vintage electronic watches.
And we will start with the legendary, probably, with the world’s first “touch sensor”…

older multi year models

was checking out some older versions of multi year that have a gmt ring, slide rule, etc.

they look appealing but not sure about buying one, since the year ring could be around 10 years old already.

their latest model is also adjustable from the crown, so i’m wondering if the new multi year models out now have a better/more robust movement ?

i’d like to buy one and they are decently priced but if anyone has advice on this series, please share your thoughts.

would not be a daily beater…

Triton / Neptune – broken crown

The crown broke off the stem of my Triton today. I’ve owned dozens of watches and never had this problem before. I was not rough with the watch.
I’m in Australia and there’s no service centre listed, also no contact options on the official website.
Does anyone have any suggestions regarding getting a replacement part?

Massively unimpressed. I’ve bought several Orient watches, but won’t bother with buying from the brand again

New Orient models for 2025

Some new releases from Orient announced this weekend.

The brand is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. The first related release includes a bunch of new Bambinos: regular ones, “sun and moon” ones, and – for the first time – solar-powered, no-date Bambinos.

Each of these types includes one limited “75th anniversary” edition, bearing a classic cursive-font logo, instead of the standard “if there’s one thing I’d change in this watch” symbol.
