Okay, so it seems that this week saw me wearing what I refer to as ‘expedition’ watches.
I usually give this name to any watch that’s small in size, and has a dark dial with just four numerals at the cardinal points of the dial and easy-to-read hands. Basically, an Explorer-type watch.
I’m not sure if this is something that’s widespread among watch collectors and wristwatch websites, but that’s the kind of design layout that I associate with post-War exploration.

Need more information on this Omega F300 Tuning Fork Quartz Constellation

I found this watch for sale and it works. I haven’t purchased it yet. This watch needs a service but before I take the plunge I thought I’d ask here. I haven’t seen a similar variant on doing an image search. There are similar case sizes but each of them have different dials. I do not doubt the authenticity of this watch though but I am curious about all the different variants.

I have a few questions:
1) How expensive is it to service this watch at Omega?
2) Will Omega stock replacement…
