Which Peter Blake to keep.

Hey, look: an opinion piece! Lol.
I “accidentally” ended up with 2 Peter Blake seamasters and I only want to keep one. I have a bunch of black dial divers and I see no real need for 2 of the same.
I have dozens of watches, mostly vintage seiko’s, and oddball cheapy collectibles that I just like in display cases.
Most of my better watches are automatics. Other than this one, out of about 13 good watches (6 omegas, and a mix of Rolex, breitling, Tag, etc) , I only have a Tag, and an omega x33…

New To Omega – Seamaster Aqua Terra

I’m new to Omega watches. I was looking to buy a Rolex Explorer 1 when I came across the Omega Aqua Terra in Black 38mm. From the moment I saw it it has really grabbed my attention. I wanted something a little “under the radar” for when I travel overseas. I’m use to the inflated grey market prices with Rolex but it seems that I can buy an unworn Aqua Terra at below MSRP from grey dealers on Chrono24. Is the route that most of you go through when shopping for Omega? Any advantage to…

Planet Ocean 39.5 on 8.5 inch wrist?

I own a PO 43.5 which for all practical purposes, is perfect for me. The problem is, I can’t get my mind off the PO 75th Anniversary Summer Blue. (I just can’t cope with the fact it wasn’t offered in 43.5).

I bought the Summer Blue SMP Diver 300M when it first came out but after the initial dazzle wore off, I couldn’t fall in love with it so I moved it along. (In contrast, I currently own the current gen Great White and that one I can’t get tired of looking at).

I was blown away by the…

Watchco Seamaster 300

I’d love to hear opinions, see pictures, and know about servicing on the Watchco 300 seamasters. I know they were contentious when launched by the Australian company, an Omega service centre who purchased lots of NOS/new parts from Omega and assembled them into new watches. Some think fake, some franken, some not sure. Though not made in Bienne or retailed by an Omega dealer, they were all completely authentic Omega parts, and I’ve heard Omega actually will service them if sent in. Original…

Current State of Omega Service Centers

Hello all, its been a while. I took a break from most of my watches and have been getting back to them lately.

I have a 2500 Planet Ocean and an 8500 Planet Ocean that need servicing. Has anyone had recent service? How is the quality and what’s the turn around these days?

I tried googling but couldn’t find where to submit for service. In the past I was able to mail directly to the service center. Also had my local AD send it in. I could always ask them to do it.

Thanks!

Is owning two similar looking watches a bad move?

Need some help with my next Omega.

I own a Railmaster Denim which I absolutely adore it. I wear it every day and the honeymoon period (coming up to 1 year now) has not worn off at all. I love the case shape, the dial, the bracelet (even without any on the fly adjustment), the crown etc. An all round good package. I’ve picked up a few minor nicks on the bracelet from desk diving, and somehow I enjoy wearing it even more in spite of them.

Naturally I’m finding myself looking into the rest of…

***Friday 4th April, 2025 – WRUW? | The Weekend Edition

First Friday of the month means that this thread can go all weekend, hepcats.

@cybercat , that Nikon camera that you liked from last week’s thread is the FE model. Of course, one is not enough, so here are my other Nikons, seen here in this shot of last Saturday’s watch, the Baltic Hermétique Tourer;
