Having just sent my Omega SMP for a service, I was wondering whether keeping watches in my rotation on a winder is a good or bad thing when considering wear on the movement. I have a modest collection, and switch between my SMP and Breitling Colt GMT on a daily basis. I also have a Seiko SKX that I wear as a “beater”. Over the last three years, I’ve been using a watch winder which keeps the power reserve at about 60 – 70% when the watch is not worn. I’m unsure if I should just let my watches…

I found a vintage Omega Speedmaster from my birth year that has been overhauled by Omega with replacement case, dial, and hands. It looks essentially new. The calibre 321 movement is reported in good condition and I assume original (to be verified.)
