Thoughts on PAM 364 Submersible

I recently sold my 24 after acquiring a 312. I realized what I was missing in the 1950’s case. I’ve tried on a number of Sub’s recently – the new 44mm’s and an older Mike Horn 47mm. 47mm is big on my 7 inch wrist, but it’s a Panerai right? I keep seeing reviews of these on 6 inch wrists so…. The 47mm in Ti also felt lighter than the 44mm’s in steel.

I’ve seen a few 364’s that aren’t “that” much more than a new-ish 1305 and would lean towards something more unique and limited. BUT…

Back from Service

Well, exactly 4 weeks from the day Panerai received my Pam, until the day I got her back. Panerai even surprised me, by sending my Pam 1109 Chrono back in a Nice, Blue Velvet travel watch box. Along with a nice bezel protector. Well done Panerai. So ni…

Thinking about getting back into Panerai.

So I have a 243J and I have not worn it in some time. No reason perhaps just because its buried in the safe and never the first thing I see.
In general I have always favored watches on bracelets but Panerai is the exception due to all the fun straps out there.

A local jeweler has a rather limited 1950 case up for sale that I really like and is in good shape, but no B&P sadly. Explains why the price is 1.5-2k less than comparable examples that are online. I contacted my local AD and was told I can bring it in, pay them $450 and get a new copy of the papers within a few days, so checkmark there, but they can’t help me out with the box (maybe it’s because it’s a LE and has a special little plaque in it). Given the jeweler’s reputation I have no…

What Goodies Come with a Pam?

Hello All.

I bought my first Pam, a pre-owned Radiomir 1940 3 Days Acciaio – 47mm.

Magnificent.

It came in a large wooden “Limited Edition” box (very impressive). Inside the box is a rolled-up certificate (very cool), a key to lock the box, and an extra crystal. Nice.

Under the lift-out tray is 2 booklets and a white unmarked polishing cloth.

Here’s my question: I’m wondering what’s missing from the box (if anything).

It’s lacking a…
