Intra-matic Auto Chrono – Should this be a full service?

I bought an Intra-matic Chrono Auto (the panda variety) a few years ago and absolutely loved it. Pretty quickly though I felt like the screw down crown didn’t feel right. I should have made a warranty claim but didn’t – over time it got worse and worse until now it feels like it has almost no thread left. Show Us Your Rare Hamiltons!

I’m no expert on Hamilton watches, but I’d love to see what y’all have got in your collections that you would consider rare, special, or unique. I’ll go first: I was gifted a vintage K-475 by my girlfriend, and it appears to be one of only about 1300 made in a span of two short years from 1960 to 1961. Here’s a few pics to get things started.
