Since no local watchmaker seems to be able to help I've been advised to use it (8-12 hours daily).

To get it going first thing I find it necessary to shake it vigorously about 30-40 secs - it's hilarious watching my technique believe me.

I suppose this is ultimately going to affect accuracy and worst case affect the watch? I only have a rudimentary knowledge of automatics.

So I stumbled upon Henry Archer microbrand while I was surfing the internet yesterday. One of their watches got my attention and asked them questions. Their response was quick and professional.

Looking at Ashford — So all the vintage-styled/classic Combat Subs and Airmen seem to be gone, and only a few Invicta-ized models remain. Does this mean Ashford is no longer getting stock of any of the classic models? I have also been watching for a restock on a few SKUs and it's been well over a year and nothing.

I'm really have a hard time with my Glycine Chief GLO410

It is my first 24 hour watch and I have half a century experience looking at 12 hour dials, and I'm in the US and didn't work in a field that needed military time.

So I don't wear it a lot. Yesterday I decided to wear it a ton. (I'm on the road now and I have a new watch waiting for me at home, so that one will need to get some wrist time.) But unless I'm kayaking, I'm wearing this one for awhile.

Other than the obvious differences in how they look, are there any significant differences between the Glycine Airman so-called Vintage (GL0376 and similar) and the Glycine Airman Purist Contemporary (GL0494 and the like)? If there’s anyone who has experience with handling or wearing both, I’d love to hear your impressions. Thanks!
