This topic has been beat to death but I wanted to add my own experiment. Why you ask? Because I don’t trust autos to take a beating and keep working accurately. At work I have to meet multiple time lines a day within a 10 second window AND I work in an environment that’s hard on everything. Battery change and water resistant tester

Hi all,
I went for a battery change for my casio duro which is water resistant at 20bar. I also asked for a water resistant test afterwards.

The test which I got, states that was tested from -0.5bar to 3bar.
When I asked why is that, they told me that there is no machine for testing 20bar and that the watch will break. Moreover, that the sea’s pressure is different that the machine’s one.

Are any of these true?
