A while back I took some pictures of my entire collection. But since then, some things have changed. I’ve added a new one to the stable (the Squale) and changed straps on a couple of them. I took some new pictures, when the idea came to me, “Why not create a thread where people can share pictures of their entire collection?”

I don’t dive, but I understand the 15 minute gradient that often shows up on divers.

I’ve mostly seen it on micro brands and mods, but is there some functionality to a 60 minute bezel that has each half a different color? Or is it just chosen for symmetry?

So I have been consolidating my collection, selling off both higher end and lower end pieces. Currently I’m left with a Pelagos FXD, CWC SBS, Sangin Merlin Brushed, Tactix 8 and a ton of random G-Shocks.

I’ll post this thread here since my primary interest is in divers, but this discussion applies to all watches. Simply, why don’t more manufacturers use sapphire over mineral/coated mineral cyrstals? I understand there is a cost difference but I think it would be negligible and lead to more sales?
