I’m new to the forum so forgive me if I posted in the wrong place. I did see the brotherhood of submarine homages threads but it seemed those were relatively ‘affordable’ models sub-$500.

I’m looking for suggestions on the best quality (swiss automatic?), solid feel and accurate Submariner homage in the range of $1000, give or take a couple hundred dollars?

I am looking to glue a lume pip onto a bezel that wasn’t designed to hold one. It has a small mounting pin on the back of the pip which I intend to remove. Want to glue it to the bezel, but don’t want it to be permanent and damage it if I ever want to remove in future. (Otherwise I’d just use Araldite!) The watch never touches water (for diving), and I’m very careful on my watches. If it falls off, well no big deal.

Any suggestions for a suitable adhesive?

saw a lovely classically styled ladies (30mm ish) dive watch today – called ladyscaf, claiming 300m 890ft WR – and wondered about buying for the missus. I wasnt sure so thought I’d come back later. But googling found next to nothing, except the big brother Eberhard Scafograf goes for huge sums???? This lady watch was very modestly priced. Stupidly I only took a pic of the movement (ETA?) below but it is identical to my eye to the Scafograph except for size

I already own the Duro MDV106 with the Marlin logo, and just got the new 107 metal strap version. Here are a few thoughts:

1) Casio UK customer support confirmed that the 107 was created for the non-US market because licensing issues with the marlin logo.

2) Text at the 6 o’clock position: Marlin logo (US market only); “WR 200M” (107 with metal strap); “WATER RESIST 20 BAR” (107 with resin strap). Metal strap looks and feels cheap. Resin strap is typical Casio. It has a nice aesthetic…
