My Holy Grail of watches since I started collecting is the Vacheron Constantin 1921 Historiques slanted dial watch. It’s perfectly classy, quirky, well proportioned and beautiful while staying deceptively simple. However, it will remain an unachievable dream for a long while as 36.000 CHF is just a tid bit out of my financial reach.

I found today small beautiful “diamond” among tons of Chinese watch brands and especially priceless because it’s “one man show”.
The name of brand it’s just the name of young, talented and skilled young man – Logan Kuan Rao – who is the owner, designer and creator in one person of unique watches.

Is San Martin Exploiting the Tariffs?

While Soviet watches are normally my jam, I recently had great luck with a San Martin hand-wound Bronze pilot’s watch (my daily work watch) and just fell in love with their Gada (SN0144).

The price has JUMPED from around $295 to now about $376 (despite Trump’s delay of tariff implementation), and YET the watch is now getting routed to Australia and then being sent onto me here in the States.

Are they trying to exploit some Aukus agreement…
