Cartier Battery Change??

[UPDATE (5/22/25): I just learned that having a third party replace the battery will void the warranty (we have about 4 years left on the 8-year warranty).

I’m inclined to go ahead and do the third-party battery change anyway.

But I thought I’d check: would it make more sense to preserve the warranty?]

Tank A Guichet Question

Hi folks. The Tank a Guichet from WW this year caught my eye. Who knows if I will be lucky enough to be offered one. But I was wondering if this is a piece that will hold value or go down over time (talking about the more standard Guichets in the lineup)?

Reason I ask is because I would consider buying it used instead of new if the value will drop (if that’s even a possibility for me). I’ve seen some conflicting amounts for recent Guichet sales from relatively recent production runs, so…

Tank Solo vs Must Value

I’ve read multiple times online that the Solo is holding its resale value better than the Must, due to its desirability for it’s more classic design and better components. Is this really the case?

Is it possible that what’s being referred to is the Must de Cartier which preceded the Solo, not the Must which followed it?

If it’s the current Must, which components are better in the Solo? I understood that the current Must has some design styling borrowed from the Louis?
