Why leave well enough alone?

Incoming A17325 38mm. Can’t decide if the blue strap will be permanent.

Went through the, (ahem…”real), Navitimer thread and I like the look of dark brown.

The stainless mesh and the cloth straps look great on the chronographs but I am not sure this model can pull off the same military or rugged rakish look of those.

Thoughts suggestions?

SuperOcean Heritage Ceramic Bezels – paint flaking issues

Hi all,

I’m considering the purchase of a SuperOcean 57 or Heritage II. However, there’s one seemingly persistent issue that’s putting me off…

Having looked at quite a few pictures of used examples of both of these models online, it seems to be recurring theme that many of them have chipped/damaged paint within the filled indices on their ceramic bezels to varying degrees.

Here is one from a Reddit member from a couple of years back:

Hi everybody,
I have this watch working fine for years. I stop wearing it for a while and sometimes later i noticed that it doe not get inputs properly when turning the crown or pushing it until the point that no command worked. Recently i changed battery too because i found it shut down and also with a new battery … no life. I suppose that it has to be switched on by pushing the crown inside or turning it forward maybe, but also in this case it does not get inputs as just explained and…

Now I done did it……

I’m one of a very few folks outside of the Asian market apparently who loves the Omega Constellation Manhattan…I also love my new to me Bvlgari Ergon…and before you form a mental opinion of me I look and dress like a New England school teacher, tweeds, OCBD etc. at work, jeans and t-shirt, sweater at home.

So I’ve been looking for a Breitling for about three years, I LOVE the Navitimer 1…an absolute dud in the market it appears.

SuperOcean Appreciation Thread

I knew I liked it when I bought it, but I didn’t realize I’d like it this much. I really appreciate how versatile these watches are. Mine’ll never be mistaken for something dressy, but strap/bracelet changes really turn this into a different watch.

Let’s see yours!

Took the stickers off my first Breitling, Premier B09

I’ve been eyeballing the Premier B09 for a couple of months now since I wanted to get a no date manual wind watch with applied markers/numerals in the 3k-10k range. The only watches I could find from a non microbrand was either the Premier B09, Omega Speedy, or Omega Deville.

Then the choice came down to dial color, between the silver or champagne. I was town between the 2, but the price was much better on Joma for the silver dial, so problem solved!

I’ve had the watch for about a week…
