A while ago I asked the SloMo Guys about doing a short segment on Accutron showing the beautifully sweeping seconds hand at a frame rate which would actually show it stopped between each oscillation of the tuning fork.

I know this will be a tough question for most as it’s not a common observation and not a well-known part of little accutron details but I will ask it anyway so maybe some of you might buy one of these and can distinguish some details of a correct Alpha Spaceview. Issue w/ Bulova Precionist hour hand?
I’ve got an early Precisionist (from 2012) that has a strange issue- the hour hand is out of phase with the minute hand. For instance, if the minute hand is at noon the hour hand is directly in between hours. Makes it unwearable for me. Do the hands just need to be removed and repositioned or is something in the movement broken? Has anyone else encountered this issue?
